Welcome to Lion Heart's own page!! Lion Heart - DOB 5/29/2005 (Lion King x Holly (by Sid's Good Stallion)  (he carries the red gene and can produce a wide variety of colors!) Lion Heart is a very special stallion and we are so very blessed to have him.  He started our gypsy dream and was the very first of our gypsy horses and will always hold a special place in my heart.  We purchased him in February 2006 as a weanling and it has been such a joy to watch him grow and mature.  It has been so exciting for us to finally see some of his offspring and we couldn't be happier!  Lion Heart always amazes me with his extreme intelligence and gentleness.   It makes my heart melt to watch him in his pasture with his band of mares and his foals.  He loves the foals and enjoys exchanging scratches with all of them and stands watch while they sleep (they ALL snore when they sleep, just like he does!!).  Lion Heart should mature to around 14.3 hands, and he rides and drives nicely! He has everything a gypsy breeder looks for, short back, intelligence, wonderful personality, sweet head and is HEAVY in feather like his sire, Lion King. He has already proved himself as an outstanding stallion and produces beautiful gypsy foals and crosses very well with clydesdale or shire mares to produce some amazing drum foals.   He produced 4 beautiful foals in his first breeding year, 3 fillies and 1 colt, all spotted and with the best personalities!  For more information about Lion Heart's sire, Lion King, please visit Black Forest Gypsy Horses website at:  http://www.gypsyhorses.com/Horses/lionking.htm Lion Heart will be standing to a LIMITED number of mares in 2010.
